The Body Corporate and BC management company Stratacare have won an inaugural national accolade for its proactive, positive and collaborative work acting in the interests of its Riverpoint Apartment residents and local community.
The award was one of two national gongs collected by Queensland companies at the inaugural Australian Apartment Advocacy National Apartment Excellence Awards held in Queensland.
The other, for Best Amenities, went to Rivière by Aria Property Group.
Australian Apartment Advocacy (AAA) CEO and founder Samantha Reece says the Riverpoint and Stratacare win, against a backdrop of widespread concern about shoddy practices across the strata industry, is well deserved because these body corporate companies have demonstrated consistent leadership and high standards.
“These entrants are a breath of fresh air in what has been an incredibly disappointing time for the strata industry,” Ms Reece says.
“The judges were impressed by the high level of communication, their organisation, their openness and transparency and the way they went about collaborating, not just with residents but their wider community.
“There is absolutely no reason other body corporates and strata companies cannot take a leaf out of Riverpoint’s playbook.”
Riverpoint and Stratacare won the People’s Choice award.
Rivière, Aria Property Group won Best Amenities for services and facilities including (but not limited to), sustainability initiatives, gardens, playgrounds, barbecue areas, residents’ wine bar and lounge and a spectacular roof top garden.
The duo scooped two prestigious awards for Queensland at the inaugural National Apartment Awards despite a strong showing from a range of innovative projects in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia.
