Smooth operator earns high praise

Quatrix Security, owned by Jeff Shawcross, is a Sydney-based security (intercom, access control and CCTV),  service and installation company operating across the metro area.

Just over a year ago (Former Committee Chair) Bruce Lucas was seeking an intercom upgrade for a 25-year-old, 42-unit building at 7-11 Gerrale Street, Cronulla in NSW. He needed upgraded intercom for each unit, access control upgrade for the entire building, card readers and car park remotes, restricted lift access and remote access for device management and a system review.

The existing system was antiquated and clumsy, it was impossible to get access to parts for repairs and fobs could no longer be programmed. “Quatrix Security was very competitive with price,” Lucas says, adding that while the scope of works was similar to its competitors, a referral from a body corporate manager “tipped the scales”.

Lucas says he has been “very impressed” with that choice.  

“Quatrix Security was outstanding with meeting the time schedule, working overtime,” Lucas says. “No hiccups in the set up. Every fob worked immediately. Very organised with dissemination of the fobs. It’s an absolutely fabulous system.

“We have had no problems since installation (a year ago) and Quatrix Security has consistently resolved any issues. If I send an email, Quatrix Security lets me know when they are coming the next day.

“Great value for money. Absolutely I would (recommend) them because of their costings, efficiency, quality of the work and the quality of the installation.”
