Frasers Property recognised for Ed Square

Frasers Property Australia took out two gongs at the NSW Awards for Precinct rejuvenation and Housing Diversity with their Ed Square development.

Spanning 24ha, Frasers Property invested heavily in the town square setting up a precinct with Coles, fresh food marketplace, Event Cinemas and iPlay, Service NSW and Eat St as well as 6ha of open space and parks.

Offering apartments above the shopping precinct, Frasers Property have also provided a range of townhouse options that range from studios to 4 bedrooms, with the designs interlocking  to create boutique precincts within the Ed Square development.

The use of modern and various building typologies and materials has also created streetscapes that are interesting and eye catching adding to the vibrancy of the development.

AAA CEO Samantha Reece stated that the project overall demonstrated a long-term commitment.

“It is always hard for a company to proof up a development such as this and the initial investment represents a real risk.  However, Frasers Property have pioneered this area and their focus on creating a diverse demographic with the range of housing choices is highly commendable,” Samantha said.

“The fact that residents can walk to what ever they need, including public transport, within five minutes means that this is a truly walkable development and that is very pleasing to see as Sydney in particular continues to become even more densified.”
